Welcome to the village of Haugen

Haugen Area Museum

Historic red-brick building housing the Hanger Area Historical Museum.

This is the original Haugen Elementary School. Once the new school was built, it was transformed into the Haugen Area Historical Museum.

Take an afternoon and learn about the history of the Haugen area. Definitely a must see!

Community Park

In the center of the village enjoy a brand-new public playground. Complete with updated play equipment and a beautiful pavilion for family picnics. 

Lona's

Hungry? Lona's has been a staple in the community for decades. They serve an amazing breakfast and lunch. 

Stop in to see why this little restaurant is talked about all over Northern Wisconsin.

Haugen Ball Park

Baseball has been a village tradition for over 90 years, and Haugen has two incredible ball fields. 

Located right next door to Haugen Elementary, Haugen Ballpark is the home of the Haugen Knights and Haugen Hornets, who typically play Sundays. You can also catch a ballgame under the lights every now and then on Friday Nights.

Just down the road, there is also small ball field that is used every Tuesday and Thursday evening for coach's pitch baseball. 

Ceska Opera House

In search of some family entertainment?

The Ceska is the place to go!  They offer a variety of shows throughout the year including a "Spring Variety Show", Christmas Programs, and live music.

This building is also available to rent for special occasions such as graduations parties, weddings, birthday parties, and more!

Village Grocery

This local owned grocery store has all your needs. They offer a wide variety of groceries, fishing bait, Bear Lake gear and so much more!
